• Hunting tourism

  • From our base in Cerje Nebojse village you get a first glimpse of the majestic slopes of the Ivancica mountains and the peaceful valleys below. The area, still sparsely populated, is surrounded by mixed forests, meadows and small farmsteads. The Bednja and the Plitvica are the two principal rivers that meander through the area accompanied by willows, poplars and alders along their banks.

Our game hunting preserve (3500 ha) is situated right in the middle of this idyllic area. It contains a variety of habitats which support a wide range of hunting activities throughout the year and many game species – deer, wild boar, roe, hare, pheasant, wild duck, patridge, quail, woodcock, bekasin and crna liska….

With a range of options to suit every requirement you will have one of the most rewarding hunting experiences on offer. You can bring your own hunting hounds or you can rent ours. Hunting guns and ammunition can be provided as well. There are two buildings in the hunting grounds. The hunting lodge “Ljuta Home” offers accomodation with single-bed or double-bed bedrooms and a cosy restaurant. Here traditional game dishes and famous home-made Zagorje specialities are prepared, as well as meals to order. Outside are the barbecue and fish ponds should you fancy a spot of fishing in the shade of the willow-trees. A fully equipped clay-pigeon shooting gallery is located next to our other hunting lodge.

Our operation is capable of hosting and organising hunting tournaments at all levels, from those of hunting associations to those at national or international level. We look forward to seeing you.

    • Game breeding

We raise free range wild boar, fallow deer, roe, mouflon, pheasant and wild duck in the nearby fields and groves of our hunting grounds and on the meadows alongside the surrounding brooks running through our farm. All game can be purchased directly from the farms or via our hunting activities.
